Family Therapy at ThriveMind

When one member of a family struggles, it affects everyone. Family therapy provides a space to improve communication, repair trust, and work through conflict in a supportive, structured way.

What Family Therapy Focuses On

- Reducing conflict and improving communication

- Supporting children and teens through transitions

- Healing family relationships impacted by trauma or stress

- Building healthier boundaries and problem-solving skills

Family Therapy vs Couples Therapy

Family Therapy involves two or more family members and focuses on the overall health of family relationships. It is especially helpful when parenting challenges, child or adolescent struggles, or intergenerational conflict affect the entire family system.

Couples Therapy focuses specifically on the romantic relationship between partners. While couples counseling can be valuable, ThriveMind Psychotherapy does not provide couples therapy. Instead, our family therapy services center on the broader family system, helping parents, children, and caregivers work together toward healthier dynamics.

Why Choose Online Family Therapy

Virtual sessions allow families to join from different locations, making scheduling easier and increasing participation. Online family therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions, with the added benefit of convenience and flexibility.
